Upper Room Christian School is a K-12, NYS Registered, ACSI Member Private Christian School founded in 1981. We seek to provide each child with Superior Education in a Safe and Caring classroom using the best Christian and Secular Curriculum taught by Skilled Christian Teachers in an Encouraging, Loving, Disciplined Christ Centered Community.
We are located at 722 Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, NY 11746. We service over 26 school districts representing over 45 churches on Long Island and Queens, NY. Our building facility is provided and supported by our parent church, Upper Room Christian World Center.
We offer very Competitive Varsity Level Basketball and Baseball programs. We also have have extensive clubs, camps and after school activities. Currently 98% of our graduates go on to Colleges and Universities throughout the United States. Many graduates receive Scholarships and most are accepted to their schools of choice.
By January 09 we will have our own Intranet with state of the art communication capabilities! Parents and Students will be able to see their grades and assignments instantly and securely from any device with Internet access! Parents, Teachers and Students have e-mail accounts and can communicate freely whenever, wherever! All school calendars are listed and updated instantly with e-mail alerts available.
