Hello! This blog is dedicated by the Grace of God to Bishop Anthony D'onofrio and Pastor Samuel Hashim, founders of Upper Room Christian School. The purpose of this blog is to discuss Christian Education and Upper Room Christian School.
Upper Room Christian School (URCS) is located in Dix Hills, NY. We are a non-denominational Christian School serving grades PreK-12. Our motto is growing up in Christ spirit, soul and body. We are the current NYS class B - Boy's Varsity Basketball Champions. Our mascot is the Lion and our teams are "The Royals".
We are NYS Regents Accredited. We are also members of the Association of Christian Schools International. We offer several AP level classes accredited through St. Johns University. We have Bible Devotions four days a week and Chapel once a week. Our school serves students from 43 different school districts. Our student body is diverse with many different nationalities represented.
